Edie is a South Korean and Australian tattoo artist currently based on the Gold Coast. Her work can be found on Instagram at @edie_tattoo. She is a permanent resident of Australia and holds a valid tattoo licence.

Edie began her tattoo journey in Melbourne, where she completed a one and a half year apprenticeship at Lucky 13 Tattoo in Burwood in September 2014. During this time, she trained under Vond Barta and Rob Mopar, building a strong technical foundation and developing her approach to tattooing.

In 2016, Edie co founded Sacred Monkey Tattoo in Kew, Melbourne. The studio remains open and active today and continues to be an important part of her professional history and growth within the industry.

In 2024, Edie relocated to Brisbane and began working full time at Westside Tattoo Brisbane. Over the past year and ten months, she has continued to refine her craft while also relocating to the Gold Coast, where she is now based.

Edie places strong value on working within the right environment and believes that growth as an artist comes from being surrounded by the right people, energy, and creative atmosphere. She greatly admires Little Tokyo’s culture and direction and would be honoured to contribute to the studio, whether on a part time or full time basis. She is also open to visiting for a chat or arranging a guest spot if it aligns with the studio’s process.
